A few reminders before booking:
Remember that the session you book can be on a future date.
If baby has not arrived yet, booking in advance is the best option. I always advise to book the shoot 5 days after your due date, after that we can coordinate a better date for you. The best time to photograph your newborn is 10-14 days, I try my best to stay within that timeframe since otherwise it will make the session very challenging and sometimes nearly impossible.
The ideal time for your maternity session is between 28-30 weeks. If you're now 20 weeks, NOW IS THE TIME TO BOOK. This gives us just so much more room to plan your session, figure out styles/outfit options etc.
If you're thinking of doing a cakesmash shoot, the ideal time is before baby walks, typically 3-4 weeks before they turn one. That guarantees a successful session, plus we have more time to plan.
